Key West Boats Direct is part of the Allied Marine Group. We are a licensed boat dealer and exporter with offices in Australia and Japan and are Key West Boats authorized global distributor. We have exported and delivered hundreds of boats to many happy clients in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, UK, France and throughout the Caribbean.
While being hugely popular in the US, always selling in the top 3 of sport fishing boats, Key West never developed a dealer network outside North America. Main reason being they were too busy expanding to try and keep up with the local demand and maintain their reputation for quality.
In March 2012 we represented Key West at the China (Guangzhou) International Boat Show. At rather short notice we hastily put together some Chinese flyers with the help of our interpreter, printed some posters and headed off for China. Even though we had no boat to display the show was an enormous success with interest being shown not only from China but also Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand and New Zealand.
The office in Kobe is staffed by Simon Burger. Simon is no stranger to Japan having lived there for more than 20 years previously. Born and raised in Western Australia he has a good understanding of the Australian market and it’s regulations and his experience in conducting business in Japan, China, Singapore and Malaysia will stand him in good stead.
